Or for some retail therapy, the village centre is just a five-minute walk away where there is an array of quirky independent shops for your holiday treats. Make sure to keep an eye out as children, adults and train spotters alike will delight in the steam railway train that passes through the village.
Further afield you are even more spoilt for choice in this stunning part of Dorset with the famous Jurassic Coast just a 15 minute drive away and also within easy reach is Durdle Door and Lulworth Cove with their fascinating rock formations. Swanage and Studland also offer miles of family-friendly golden sandy beaches for those beach days out. You are perfectly central for so many fun-filled activities including taking a ferry trip from Studland across to Sandbanks and Poole Harbour, that have an exciting range of water sports. The ancient walled saxon town of Wareham is also nearby - why not treat yourself to a cream tea at The Priory?

To the rear of the cottage, the enclosed garden and private parking; it is easier to reverse through the gates, as the turning circle is quite tight.
The well-equipped kitchen has all that you need to produce holiday treats for all the family.
