Portreath’s fabulous beach is great for surfers, sunbathers and sandcastle-builders alike! And so is High Ayshe, set up on the hillside away from the centre of this popular seaside village (see photograph) but only a short walk from its shops, pubs, restaurants, little harbour, small inner beach and tidal pool. Enjoying fantastic views of the beach, south-facing High Ayshe stands at the end of a long descending driveway, the footpath alongside it a handy shortcut down to the beach. There is a sloping back lawn and a sunny front terrace, covered fishpond and a low wall, beyond which the ground slopes steeply downhill. The uninterrupted views are spectacular, making the terrace the perfect spot to sit back, relax, and watch the comings and goings on the beach below. Inside, the dining-room table by the patio doors is ideal for lingering over meals whilst admiring the views. The spacious kitchen is well-equipped and the adjacent utility-room is useful for storing beach gear. The large, comfortable sitting-room leads to the downstairs bedrooms, and upstairs are three further bedrooms, the spacious en suite with especially stunning sea views.
