There is a fabulous open-air swimming pool for you to enjoy. It is not heated but great fun in a wet suit if you are not so brave !

This is the huge, fully enclosed terrace for guests' sole use. Gates from the private parking space lead straight into the courtyard so unpacking is easy.
Orchard Dene is the cottage in the background. The gated steps lead down to the pool from a really large and private sun-trap patio behind the wall.
The cottage fronts onto the little village road, parking is to the left-hand side, and from there you can go straight through to the patio.

The owners kindly provide you with a parking permit for the private car park at Putsborough beach, one and a half miles from the cottage.
Saunton Sands is nearby - a vast expanse of sand to enjoy!
The church is at the heart of this pretty village.

Woolacombe is magical.
Croyde Beach is loved by surfers.

A little treasure tucked away in Georgeham!! Minutes from the beach (the beach parking pass an added bonus for walking the dog) and has the peace of a village. Masses of space and the pool a bonus! Already coming back!

Very comfortable cottage with parking and a large sunny patio, plus the added bonus of a swimming pool! Georgeham is a picturesque village with 2 good pubs and easy access to Putsborough beach. Highly recommended.

We had a fantastic week at Orchard Dene. Swam in the gorgeous pool every day despite some rainy weather and the log burner kept us toasty in the evenings! The two local pubs were welcoming and did lovely food. Used the local bus service to have a day out as well as making use of the handy car park permit for Putsborough beach. The village is lovely and nothing was too much trouble for the owners who live next door. NT car park at Baggy Point was great for a walk also. Really enjoyed our week and will look to return to Orchard Dene in the future. ...
