1 Pump Cottages is in a prime location for enjoying Rye. Close to station, bus stops, and all the amenities you could possibly need for a relaxing break. The cottage is in a really good central location and has parking. The garage is hard to get into though due to the angle. The cottage was comfy and had everything one could need. There was dust in the bedrooms however behind the bed and under the side tables. The curtains also let in a lot of light and the pub opposite did get noisy which impacted sleep unfortunately. Overall it was a good cottage but could do with some improvements re curtains and better double glazing. ...

Rye is a lovely place and we enjoyed exploring it on our 4 night stay. The cottage was spotlessly clean and well equipped. It’s in town, the historical sites, shops, cafes and pubs are on your doorstep. That said the pub diagonally opposite hosted live music and discos every night of our stay (over a bank holiday) but did stop about 11pm....
