We've just returned from a wonderful 2 week stay in Coachman's Cottage. The property certainly lived up to expectations - and the pictures don't do it justice at all! The cottage is the perfect size, with large bedrooms, and 2 toilets. The kitchen has everything you need from crockery to cheese grater (plus tea, coffee, and Sandy's wonderful flapjack!), and still plenty of space to store your own food. The gardens are absolutely beautiful with plenty of space to play games or relax. Sandy and Tom live next door - the perfect friendly neighbours. Our son loved daily chats with them (thanks Sandy and Tom!). The surrounding area is beautiful. Our favourite beach was Constantine Bay, but there are plenty of others to explore. There are some great local farm shops and the local pub has delicious food. We really enjoyed our non-beach days at Bodmin Jail, Carnglaze Caverns, Eden Prjoect and Tintagel....

Coachmans Cottage was one of the best well equipped cottages we have stayed in over the years set in the most beautiful and peaceful surroundings. The hosts were very friendly and welcoming.

We had a very relaxing week in this idyllic location, away from it all but within easy reach of places of interest: we climbed to the folly at Boscastle, watched the sunset on Polzeath beach, cycled the Camel Trail, walked a stretch of the coastline, enjoyed the beach at Padstow, visited Port Isaac, and did the stunning walk from Polzeath to the Rumps on the last evening (a recommendation from our hosts) - there was plenty to do. Sitting in the beautiful gardens reading a book whilst listening to the birds and the stream was restorative. Tom and Sandy (our hosts) were very warm, friendly, helpful - and gave us space. The cottage was pristinely clean and fully equipped with everything you could need....

This is a wonderful chance to spend time in a property that gives an ideal opportunity to relax within the house itself, but also in the wonderful garden that is a perfect retreat. Situated in a beautiful part of Cornwall with easy access to both popular and lesser known places to visit you can be as active or relaxed as you wish. At the top of the road is an excellent farm shop, St Kew Farmshop, that is well worth a visit to buy top quality produce. The Sea View Farm Shop on the B3314 is also worth a visit for meals and food purchases....

We had a lovely two weeks at Coachman's cottage. The cottage was perfect and had everything needed. Tom and Sandy were wonderful hosts and we enjoyed exploring their wonderful garden! We would absolutely visit again and highly recommend to others.
