Rose Cottage is a comfortable traditional cottage. It is well equipped in the kitchen, the living space is well appointed, the beds comfortable, the shower hot and efficient with starter toiletries. A high standard of cleanliness, good quality furnishings and interesting local artwork, some for sale, a nice touch. Great if you are part of a larger party staying at Kelly Mill and next door at Honeysuckle Cottage. Very rural setting We loved the clear skies and the dark nights and the farm activity opposite, yet its easy to access shopping, pubs and restaurants a short drive away....

I've stayed at both Rose & Honeysuckle cottages numerous times with my dog. Exceptionally clean, well maintained & plenty of equipment provided, inc tea, coffee, sugar, milk & wine! Both have fully secured fenced garden safe for your furry friends complete with garden furniture & BBQ! Very comfy bed with crisp white bed linen & towels & even little toiletries. WiFi good. Easy parking right outside. The only downside is there is a bit of road noise & farm traffic as dairy farm opposite (also a little upsetting to hear baby calves crying for their mummies ?? as this is sadly a consequence of dairy farms) Definitely recommend though & perfect base to explore everything nearby....

Rose cottage is charming and very comfortable. We liked the South facing garden and terrace. The lounge and kitchen are spacious and well equipped. The adjoining road was unexpectedly busy. The cottage is set in a farm and work gets going quite early in the morning....
