We really enjoyed our stay at Blakesley Cottage. Its situation in a quiet country lane with little traffic was a little haven of peace & tranquility. The cottage is very well equipped, clean , cosy & homely. We stayed as a couple so had plenty of room to ourselves. We enjoyed sitting in the back conservatory looking out into the large grounds, making it feel like a big back garden. On arriving back after a day out exploring the island we felt like we were coming home. It was a bonus that we could walk 1/2 mile up the lovely country lane to a pub for dinner in the evening. Apparently you can also take a 20 minute walk on a footpath into Godshill village but the wet evening weather didn't allow us to try this but during summer months that would be a bonus too....
