Short break at New Year. The furnishings and the layout of the cottage complimented one another, and while compact, it was a perfect size for our young family. The kids (6&9) loved the sleeping layout. Less than 10 mins drive to a beach and in an ideal location to explore this part of the coast for us. House was lovely and warm and was used even through the day to escape the brisk winter weather in between preparing for the next outing nearby....

We thoroughly enjoyed our week at Cistus Cottage. The cottage is very charming & perhaps cosy for a family of four, but this is to be expected for a property with such an age and history. The children loved staying in a cottage over 300 years old! The interior is modern and clean, and we didn’t really want for anything during our stay. The cottage is well placed to get to most local attractions and destinations within 30 minutes. Thank you for the lovely week! ...

We had a lovely week in Cistus Cottage - Cornwall was somewhere long on my 'really want to visit' list and we were delighted with the cottage. The location was perfect for travelling around Cornwall and the cottage itself was beautifully restored and very clean and comfortable. We didn't want to leave!....
