Kerenza was very warm, clean and comfortable, bright and cheerful, the building by the owners planned skillfully with ecology in mind, and attractive colour scheme and some lovely paintings. Very comfortable bed. It was a very relaxing and roomy, and so good that we could come here with our dog. A delightful welcome when we arrived and chat while we were shown round which was a wonderful start to the holiday, and a generous and delicious cream tea which gave us tea-time treats for 3 days with cream and jam still left over to add to meals! The owners were kind, friendly and helpful, and came up with very good suggestions about places to go which suited us very well. We loved the scramble up Eagle Rock, very close to the house and a great place for picnics and tremendous views and a great "away from it all" on private land. It is well placed within easy reach of North and South coasts...

We have had a wonderful week staying in Kerenza, and we can vouch for its air tightness (a key aspect of passive house) as it was severely tested by Storm Agnes! Great location with both north and south coasts within easy reach. Friendly and welcoming hosts, available if needed but otherwise leaving us to our own devices.
