We had a lovely stay.

Our hosts were most welcoming a helpful, this cottage was well equipped to a very high standard and spotlessly clean.Thank you Tim and Katie for a great stay.

What a wonderful stay we've had at Lane's End Cottage.... despite the weather! Such a beautiful place, Tim and Katie have thought of everything! The wine and biscuits were a nice extra touch, as well as the milk in the fridge. Such a beautiful home away from home and if ever we come back to North Devon we'll be booking again. The shower is exceptional, a good size, and very powerful. The whole cottage has been finished to a very high standard. There are many things to do in North Devon and Lane's End Cottage is a great base, we visited Baggy Point, Arlington Court, Lynton & Lynmouth, Norse Hawk Axe Throwing (so much fun), Clovelly (so beautiful and original) & Dunster Castle.... all well worth it! We also found some amazing places to eat... The Maiden Arch in Barnstaple is just wonderful if you like Fine Dining and wanted a treat! We also went to The Gurka in Barnstable which again was really good. We had a trip out on our last night to The Sandy Cove Hotel in Ilfracombe which has stunning views and has 2 restaurants.. We ate at the Seacliff Restaurant - well recommended....

My partner and I had a lovely weekend stay at Lane's End Cottage for his birthday weekend. We enjoyed being located in Barnstaple so we were a short drive from surfing beaches & beach towns but also on the doorstep of a good selection of restaurants and cafes in Barnstaple - we were happy to be able to walk into town so we could enjoy food & a few drinks without a drive back to the cottage! The cottage itself was so beautiful as well as comfortable & clean. The shower was gorgeous and definitely one of the highlights of the cottage after a day at the beach and walking around. We loved having direct access to the private garden to let our pup run around and play. Tim & Katie were so accommodating and it was nice to see them next door here and there but they also never intruded on our stay - and our pup's stay was enriched by being able to meet their own dogs in the garden! Inside the cottage we had everything we needed - the kitchen and bathroom were well stocked. Tim & Katie were so sweet to leave us some thoughtful touches for my partner's birthday, plus a bit of milk in the fridge. Appreciated the separate towel provided just for the dog, too. We loved staying here and will definitely look to stay again when we visit Devon in the future!...
