The charming village of Polperro is picture perfect.
The historic house, gardens and parkland at Lanhydrock make for a great day out. If you enjoy adventures on two wheels there is also a network of cycling trails.

The Dairy is set in a pretty courtyard down quiet, narrow leafy lanes. No nearby roads or passing traffic, so incredibly peaceful, just the deafening sound of birdsong. There is so much to do and see if the local area. We enjoy walking and had plenty of opportunity on the coast, moors, rivers and woods. Also National Trust houses Lanydrock and Cotehele nearby. Such a beautiful and diverse area, we had a fabulous holiday and were sad to leave. Our cottage was clean and comfortable with all we needed to self-cater, although quite small it felt spacious and had a little sitting out area to enjoy a morning cuppa and evening glass of wine. The local Spa does tasty 'Cook' meals if you want an easy night in. The owners were very welcoming and friendly and although there are other holiday cottages on the site , it had a very peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. It would be nice to return and try one of the other cottages if visiting the area again....
