We were a family of 8 and stayed in September Cottage for a week. The house is elegantly furnished. Kids enjoyed playing in the big garden. We loved the view of the sea from the windows upstairs. The stroll to the Portscatho beach (took about 15 minutes) through the trails was amazing. One more indoor shower would have been great (there is currently one indoor shower and one indoor bath and an outdoor heated shower). One thing to be mindful of: make sure someone is guiding from the outside when trying to park or driving off the car. The slates making up the fence could scrape your car's bumpers. ...

Stunning place to stay. Fantastic space with 4 good size bedrooms. Really well equipped. The bi fold doors and atrium let in so much light looking over the garden. Nicely located, lovely coffe and cake at the harbour. Short walk to next bay & the hidden hut for pasties. We used the bus to get to truro and back one day , made a change from using the car. St mawes was also lovely, just a 10 min drive. We cooked most nights and loved the open plan layout. It was scrupulously clean and comfortable. Highly recommended and will definitely stay again!...

We're delighted that you had such a fabulous stay at the cottage, the bi-fold doors are a wonderful feature. It was lovely to read that you were able to explore the local area and to use the local transport to get out and about, sometimes that's all part of the holiday adventure! We are so glad that you had such a great experience and we look forward to welcoming you back soon. Donna, Customer Support....

September Cottage is a lovely, spacious and well equipped holiday home. As it was October we didn't use the bi-fold doors but can imagine how amazing they would be open in some summer sunshine! The location was great too, we can recommend the ice cream shop in the village, delicious (it's a steep walk back up the hill to burn off the calories!) The proximity to the coastal path is also good, lots of beaches can be found on foot, we hardly used the car. We were also lucky to see seals 3 days in a row on our various walks....

A fabulous place to stay, one of the best we have stayed in. It had everything you could possibly need in the way of equipment. The garden was lovely just a shame that the weather wasn’t very good so did not have chance to sit outside. Can imagine that in the Summer it would be lovely when you can have the bi-fold doors open. It was great to have the woodburner, we used it every evening. Very spacious property. Lots of walks nearby so no need to use the car if you don’t want to. Two pubs in walking distance that do lovely meals. The Standard Inn does a lovely Sunday roast. The kitchen is very well equipped so cooked most evenings. We would definitely stay again. Mrs Cole...
