Welcome to Janes Field, a charming holiday home in the pretty village of Portscatho.

On one level, the front door is accessed through a wooden gate. There are two outside chairs on the corner of the deck, perfectly placed for the evening sun.

The spacious sitting/dining-room is lovely.

The apex window and patio doors make the sitting/dining-room light and bright.

The dining-table sits behind the sofa, the perfect place to chat about the day's adventures.

The kitchen has all the equipment you will need to create a holiday meal, although the view towards the harbour may be a little distracting!

The breakfast-bar is ideal for a quick holiday snack.

All the equipment you'll need including the all-important dishwasher.

Bedroom 1 is a peaceful haven with the added benefit of an en suite shower-room.

Breakfast in bed? Why not, you are on holiday!

Janes Field is a moment away from the village centre up a short, steep hill. There is parking for one car on the drive.

The wonderful view over to Nare head and Gull rock with the Dodman in the distance.

There is level access to Janes Field through the wooden gate to the front door.

This gorgeous spot on the deck catches the evening sunshine.

With views towards distant headlands, the front balcony is a blissful place to sit.

The stunning beach at Porthcurnick, a short stroll along the coast path.

The beach at Portscatho is great fun at low tide.

The Hidden Hut can be found just a gentle stroll away along the coast path overlooking Porthcurnick beach.

Portscatho is a pretty village with a lovely harbour.

Visit St Mawes for a vibrant harbour and seasonal passenger ferry to the maritime town of Falmouth.

There are plenty of options when it comes to dining in St Mawes.

St Just in Roseland is the prettiest of tranquil coves with a fabulous church and gardens.

Take the King Harry Ferry over the River Fal to explore west Cornwall.

Travel further afield to the delightful Lost Gardens of Heligan.
