Lovely and peaceful shepherds hut, great views well worth a visit.

Such a gorgeous place to stay! I needed a little break with my dog that was tucked away, restful and nourishing, and Pippin was just perfect. I walked the coastline during the day with my dog and at dusk cosied up with the woodburner and the views back at Pippin. Aaaaah, am still exhaling at the memory! There is also a cafe selling amazing coffee in Mylor Bridge, and a shop for papers, etc. The owner is super helpful and local to the area if anything arises, but you are otherwise left to your own devices which I valued. As mentioned by a previous guest, the garden fence could be extended easily along the one unfenced part which would really enclose the garden then - it would be so nice to leave the shepherd's hut door open whilst cooking or simply relaxing and not wondering whether the dog has blissfully gone off to chase squirrels and then in turn found the country road. (Of course a long lead is a possibility, but sweeter if they don't need to be tied up on holiday!) I mentioned this to the owner and it does sound like this is in the pipeline. Really, such a treasure of a place to have found - Pippin is going in my little book of perfect getaways xx ...

We loved our stay at Pippin and would happily return! It was so peaceful and quiet + the Shepherd's Hut was cosy and comfortable, as well as warm - even at night when the fire had been lit. A nice touch was that there was milk and scones for us when we arrived! I was particularly happy to see that the Electromagnetic Radiation (EMR) levels in and around the hut were relatively low - they were measured with my Electrosmog Detector and never went above 0.2 v/m, which is rare nowadays. As I suffer from Electrohypersensitivity (EHS) this was vital. I know many more people who have EHS and it is only going to increase with the spread of Electrosmog all across society. People with EHS are the Canaries in the coalmine - all people are Electrosensitive and this is why it is so important to have places to go to where there is little or no Electrosmog. Fortunately, Pippin fitted the bill and we hope that this will still stay so forever - for Human, Bee and Tree! :) Finally, the garden is lovely, with the little fire place, the stones to sit on and the wooden bench made from a log + the view is incredible! ...

We chose Pippin for a short honeymoon break and it definitely delivered. The location is so secluded with a stunning view - whether it was sunny or raining! We made use of the firepit and it was lovely sitting outside at night watching the stars. Only a 15 minute walk (or 5 min bike ride) down to the Pandora Inn. Recommend heading down to The Lemon Arms on a Monday night for the quiz as well. It was very easy to book a quick taxi into Falmouth to explore further. Would 100% return!...
