We had a pleasant stay at Gull Rock View, the property had everything we needed, it is comfortable and the area is quiet, it is in a good location for the beaches, pubs and shop, there are lovely walks around the area and Portscatho is also on a bus route to Truro and St Mawes....

Over the years, we have now stayed at numerous holiday cottages, at first with our family and now just the the two of us. We found Gull Rock View to be one of the most pleasant. On arrival, this cottage was spotlessly clean and there were clear & concise instructions for all appliances, oven, dishwasher, heating etc. We were impressed with the details of how to dispose of any rubbish. It is surprising how many cottages do not fully explain how to sort any waste, what bin to use & the collection day. The owners here at Gull Rock View clearly care for the environment, and their guests. Whilst not expected, an arrival pack is always appreciated & we found the milk, tea & local refreshments very welcome. On comparing the description & the property itself, all was as listed. We found no hidden surprises. (although making use of the windfall fruit from the trees in the garden and having apple crumble one evening was a bonus !) All in all, an enjoyable stay - Thank You...

Gull Rock View is a lovely cottage in an excellent location. It's only a short walk from the sea front and local shops, pubs and cafes, making it an excellent choice. It is very well-equipped and has a lovely garden to use if the weather is good. Nearby coastal walks are on the doorstep and the mobile fish and chip van which visits on a Friday evening is an added bonus! Highly recommended. ...
