Set in a wonderfully rural location The Granary is the perfect place for those looking for a peaceful Devonshire retreat. The Granary is a spacious home-from-home offering a glorious space for you to recharge away from the hustle and bustle of daily life with the added luxury of a hot tub and an orchard!
Walk into the dining-area from the patio into a wonderfully cosy space for bringing the party together over a meal. There is a sofa and wood-burner in the dining area so you can enjoy reading your book with the fire crackling away in the background.
The kitchen is supplied with all the usual mod-cons you'd expect to find. The double electric range cooker is ideal for making your favourite holiday meal, alternatively for warming the plates while you're waiting for the fish and chips to arrive. There is a washing machine and tumble-drier for those unexpected washes that always seem to crop up but most importantly the wine fridge is a real bonus! Please do note that you have to step down into the kitchen.
The sitting-area is a comfortable room with a leather corner sofa facing the wood-burner and Smart TV. It is the room everyone wants to go to after an exciting day exploring the local area. So, crack open that bottle and talk the night away together. The open plan sitting/dining-room is separated by the stairs but has a really lovely snug feel.
Bedroom one is a glorious king-size room with oodles of space, original beams, and beautiful styling not forgetting the comfortable chair offering the cosy nook to enjoy that holiday read! Step down into bedroom two which sits at the other end of the cottage and delivers on style and comfort. With the versatility of a 'zip and link' which can be made into a super-king size bed or a twin. The bathroom sits on the mezzanine landing and is ideally positioned between both bedrooms. This handy family bathroom offers a shower and a separate bath.
The outside patio area sits opposite the orchard which you are welcome to enjoy during your stay. There is also the all-important hot tub that offers a gorgeous spot to relax and stargaze as the night sky lights up. Whilst the discreet owners live on site and will say a friendly hello on arrival and give a friendly wave as you pass on the lane in and out of the farm, they will also allow you to enjoy your holiday.
