Bantham village has a great pub, why not enjoy a meal on the way home from Bantham beach?

Very unfortunately, on the last day of my stay the central heating boiler failed and I had no heating or hot water. I phoned the management company to report this. I had a call from them within a couple of hours explaining that they were trying to find an emergency plumber but that they were struggling a bit. I assured them that I fully understood the situation and it wasn't a massive issue as I was leaving in the morning and I had the wood burner so wasn't going to freeze!! I got back from my day out to find two electric radiators, and extra bag of logs, some extra kindling and firelighters and a bottle of pink fizz on the doorstep. Yes, something had gone wrong but that's the way that you respond to an issue. First class!!...

Fantastic cottage in a great location. Has everything you would need and even had some fresh milk, cookies and flowers for our arrival. Great location . We had some lovely days out that didnt require driving to far to get to. Farm shop walking distance, and Rose and Crown do great food. A very relaxing place to stay. Pleas be aware the owner of the the lane outside the cottage (we supposedly can use for unloading/loading purposes only) was very rude and aggressive and stated it was private and couldn't use it.! Quite upsetting as we arrived! ...

Cute little cottage, perfect foe exploring the South Hams. Great set up for a family break, with a lovely garden. We had a lovely holiday and enjoyed visiting Bantham, Bigsbury, Noss Mayo and Mothecombe.

Chou Cottage is a charming and cosy accomodation located in a small but pleasant village. It is a great place to spend a few days and explore South Devon, for all the main attractions/beaches are between 15/30 minutes drive. The river Yealm is very pretty and exploring the area around it by taking short walks that start from behind the local church can be very rewarding....
