Visit Tarr Steps and the nearby pub which overlooks it. Enjoy a delicious lunch or afternoon tea in the sunshine, or by the fire on a winter's day.

The cottage is absolutely amazing and we couldn't be happier for having spent a week there. The location is peaceful and idyllic. The garden is fully fenced, so no worries for the dogs. Frogwell Cottage is beautiful inside, good size rooms, very well equipped with all we needed for a holiday for 5. The garden area did not live up to the online description, overgrown and untended, 'sweet spot' not nice to use as it has an oil boiler outlet pipe which blows out fumes. Disappointing that the owners fields and woodland offered for use, which was the main reason for us booking this property, were not practical to use, no details in the cottage of which fields were theirs and having contacted them the instructions were very complicated with what appeared to be fields coming off various lanes and roads which we were not familiar with, and the one we found was very overgrown and not practical for our family. ...

This house is in a very quiet rural location which we used as a base to drive out to lots of beautiful sites on Exmoor. The house had all the essential kitchen equipment which seemed new including a very good dishwasher and washing machine, enough plates and pans etc for us 5 and more. The whole place was very clean and comfortable, we especially enjoyed the log burner which made it very cosy. There was plenty of room for us to stay very comfortably, I would definitely return to this house, we had such a lovely week there....
