Behind the bay window is the outhouse, where there is a washing machine. Please note, two steep steps lead down from the shared courtyard to the stable front door.

Around this area there are many wonderful walks from Mousehole. The coastal path to Lamorna is one of the prettiest you will find anywhere in Cornwall.
If you can, try and take in a trip to the world famous Minack Theatre, dramatically perched on the cliffs above Porthcurno.
The fishing port of Newlyn is a lovely twenty minute stroll away.

Cant fault the place, strangely quitely hidden but in the middle of the harbour ! Peaceful comfortable sleep, great showers and wanting for nothing. Car parking is an issue, you need to be pretty quick at loading / offloading and then parking in car park if you can find a space or as I did park just outside the village on the Newlyn road for free. ...

Be prepared to fight for car parking space. The cottage itself is lovely. There are no supermarkets or food shops here and the resurants are quite expensive. Mousehole is lovely however, and typically Cornish but it was very busy all the time, so not that peaceful....

We stayed in Potters Cottage mid Dec for 4 nights to come and see the xmas lights. We had the best 4 days. We walked into a lovely warm cottage, full of delightful character and treats. From the welcome tea, coffee, biscuits and chocolates to the immaculate bedrooms and bathrooms. We ate out at the Ship in and did lots of walks and swims and seeing old friends. I would hole heartedly recommend this cottage for its central location, character and warmth. ...
