Lovely cottage with wrap around views from the main bedroom and all the ground floor. Very high quality furnishings and kitchen well equipped for large groups. Parking space behind cottage which easily fit one family car and I expect it could manage two small ones if needed. Shaldon was a bit sleepy in April but there were a couple of cafes and pubs open, although some not every day. Village store open every day for the basics (including some wine!). Cakes from the bakers are great. The Clipper cafe was lovely, had two very nice meals there overlooking the River, very friendly staff. Very picturesque and unspoilt little town. ...

On our arrival the amazing panoramic views from 4 large picture windows, taking in the Teign bridge to the coastline ending in Hampshire took our breath away.

Nice place with a superb vista. Good local amenities for a small village. Unfortunately we will not be returning as the price is too much even during what used to be “out of season”. Also disappointed with a pint of milk and seven biscuits representing a Welcome Pack !!!...

We're delighted you liked this beautiful cottage and the location. The views of the estuary are indeed superb. Welcome packs are individual but in general (as with this cottage) provide a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk along with biscuits/cake and flowers on arrival, as well as an initial supply of cleaning products to get you going.
