The Potting Shed provided us with a wonderful Christmas get away. The location is great for accessing the wilds of Dartmoor and the wooded valley at Fingle Bridge, giving opportunities to walk in all types of weather. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped and the secure garden was perfect for our dog to run around in - especially when the owner’s friendly dog came to play!...

We absolutely loved our stay at the Potting Shed. It is spacious and light and the beds are really comfortable. It is a really peaceful location, the garden is large with lovely views. The garden connects with the Owners garden next door but the garden feels really private and is not overlooked at all. Their dog Dottie popped round to visit which we and our dog really enjoyed. We loved the location, great for walking around Fingle bridge and Castle Drogo which have beautiful scenery. We ate twice at the Three Crowns in Chagford.The staff were really friendly to us and dogs are made very welcome in the bar .The food was delicious...

The Potting Shed is an ideal location for exploring Dartmoor or just relaxing in the beautiful garden . Drewsteignton has all the facility’s you need plus the National Trust’s Castle Drogo nearby.
