Perfectly appointed and located cottage. Hidden away and yet easily accessible. Had the most amazing time as a little family. Will definitely be back. Thank you.

Very comfortable, clean and well equipped (apart from lack of a microwave). Excellent location. Very friendly and helpful owners. Humming sound from owners' swimming pool filter was slightly disturbing for the first 2 or 3 days.

What a wonderful place to be! Great hosts who were so kind and welcoming and happy to help with recommendations for places to eat and days out etc! Property was beautifully and thoughtfully decorated throughout to a modern and high standard! Loved this place with its stunning country views and easy location to the nearby beach of Yaverland which is beautifully sandy. Would heartily recommend (although not too much as it’s gem and don’t want too many people to know about it)!

We had a great week at The Clockhouse near Sandown. We received a warm welcome from the owners and quickly settled into the beautifully decorated and well-equipped space. We loved the big garden with bunnies hopping around it and the quiet, peaceful setting with views over the downs. Lovely luxurious shower too! Really easy to get around the island and we could have spent another week here.

Thank you for a lovely stay - the Clock House was immaculately clean with tasteful decor and a bed comfier than our own at home! The garden views are gorgeous and had the weather been better we would have spent longer enjoying the garden. The open plan feel was nice and whilst there isn't a lot of bedroom storage it did not feel small. Lovely to have a washer-drier! Bunk beds were comfy and the homeowners were very friendly with recommendations and local knowledge. They were very quick to answer our queries and whilst the Clock House is close to the main house you don't feel overlooked. Thank you!

The Clock House is beautifully decorated, well equipped, and has a beautiful garden. The beds were very comfy and we slept well all holiday. The hosts Lucy and Struan could not have been more helpful during our stay. Lots of tips of where to visit and places to eat. The cottage location is a minutes away from Yaverland beach, and we found it easy to get to all parts of the island.

An excellent cottage in a great location.

Lovely cottage which is beautifully furnished in a peaceful setting. The location is ideal with wonderful views across Culver Down and close to the beach and other attractions. The hosts were very friendly without being intrusive. All in all an extremely relaxing and comfortable stay.

Lucy and her family were really welcoming and it was a total joy to stay at their lovely cottage. Everything was to a very high standards, comfy beds, lovely bedlinen, interesting artworks and furniture, and a very well equipped kitchen. The outside space - a private enclosed garden with seating and BBQ with a lovely open view across the down - made for a very relaxing and peaceful stay. we loved the rabbits too !

Roomy bathroom with very good shower. Big private garden with views of Culver Down and fields. Very quiet and peaceful. Friendly hosts.

We had a lovely week in the Clockhouse at the beginning of June, the location is great, with easy access to the main routes around the island, views to culver down were fantastic and the large garden was a huge bonus in good weather. Lucy and Struan were very welcoming and very willing to offer advice and help with things during our stay. The cottage is on shared grounds with the main house so they were also close by. We would certainly love to come back and stay again!

We didn't have the best of weather, but the warmth of the welcome at The Clock House made up for it. It is a well appointed home from home with an exceptionally comfortable bed. Situated between Bembridge and Sandown, local eateries abound (booking is a must at the weekend) and we found the local beaches quiet and beautiful. This was our first island visit and we hope to go back again soon.

Lovely cottage in a lovely setting. Exceptionally clean and tastefully decorated throughout. Owner lives next door and has been very helpful in giving advice where to go ...beaches, restaurants, crab fishing, etc. The views are far reaching towards the cliffs and a long stretched sandy beach is just down the road with children entertainment (if needed) or countryside walks close by. We really enjoyed our stay.
