Another fantastic holiday at Dolphin House! The house has everything required for a family beach holiday including kayaks, body boards and beach equipment. The beds are comfortable and kitchen spacious and extremely well equipped. There are comfy sofas and large tables inside and outside for family meals. We walked to the beach with our beach trolleys and it took a few minutes to pop back for ice creams or to walk up with the baby for a nap. We were on the beach and in or on the sea every day - with a trip on the sea tractor to Burgh Island when it was a little drizzly before the sun came out. We ate on the beach on two evenings- fish and chips from Venus Cafe and delicious Pizza from Mount Folly Farm- and enjoyed watching our children racing around an almost empty beach - idyllic! Our grandchildren aged almost 1 to 8 didn’t want to leave and we hope to be back in Bigbury on Sea again before too long. ...

This property is ideal for families who just want a beach holiday, Only a few minutes walk to the beach which has lovely, clean sand. A slightly longer walk (at low tide) will take you across to Burgh Island with very good viewpoints. Waterboards and Kayaks are available for guests to use. It's a good idea to take a good supply of foodstuffs with you as the nearest shop is several miles away along narrow, winding country lanes....
