A lovely cottage but on the description for the cottage says the beach is 'moments away', it is at least a 15 minutes walk down a very steep hill and even longer coming back. The beach you can see from the window is a 10 minute drive away.

We're so pleased you enjoyed your stay and thanks for your feedback. The walk back up from the beach can take a little longer, though I'm sure you'll agree it's definitely worth it to enjoy this stunning stretch of beach. We'd love to welcome you back again soon. Julie, Customer Support...

Ferrycombe itself is so well equipped and presented with everything we needed during our holiday. We will definitely return....

We are sorry that the area of South Devon wasn't a good fit for you but glad that you enjoyed your time at Ferrycombe before continuing your explorations. We hope to welcome you back to Cornwall again in the future. Sarah, Customer Support

Views and walks to die for and straight from the door. Do stop at Holywell stores on the way to stock up. It’s a community run venture and was really well stocked. Plus don’t miss the community run tea rooms at Bigbury on Sea. Stunning views and delicious cakes/light lunches....
