We had the most wonderful stay in The Shute. The house is lovely and feels like a real family home. It is very well equipped, with everything needed for a week or two on holiday with a lovely kitchen diner or outside patio for those evening meals or cheeky glass of wine. The garden is absolutely stunning with far reaching sea views and we both enjoyed watching the evening cruise ships passing by on their way from Southampton. There was a fantastic welcome basket waiting for us and the lovely owners also met us on arrival with a further gift of freshly home baked bread :-) We cannot recommend The Shute enough. ...

The Shute is a beautiful cottage in a peaceful location with stunning views over the cliffs. We loved the large garden ( complete with climbing frame and slide and lots of garden chairs) and the patio for alfresco dining ( large BBQ included) The house was quirky with lots of little steps into rooms, it was well equipped and had everything we could possibly need. The owners welcomed us warmly and we appreciated the groceries especially the home made and still warm bread. Would definitely recommend and hope to stay again soon....
