My family and I had the most wonderful stay at Solent Cottage. The cottage is perfectly situated for the beach and nearby town Cowes, and we felt truly at home there. We will certainly be back and look forward to staying there again!

We loved Solent View Cottage and Gurnard. It's a great base for exploring Cowes and the Island, though its quite hilly! The kids playground is great for little ones. There is a shingle beach too. The cottage was clean, tidy and nicely done as shown in the pictures. There's a local shop round the corner and The Woodvale pub has great views, kids menu and games we would recommend it. It's a nice long walk to Cowes on the coast path with a coffee/ice cream cabin and public toilets on the route. We would recommend Classic Cottages (this was our 3rd enjoyable stay with them) and Solent View Cottage, thank you!...

The cottage was comfortable enough, clean and well cared for. The view down the garden was beautiful, shame we couldn't get down to the beach that way. Shop close by which was a bonus, as was the lovely little cafe.

A very enjoyable and comfortable stay in a well appointed property. Perfect location, close to the sea and with a coffee shop just round the corner. Very good food at 'The Woodvale', family run and overlooking the sea - worth booking to save disappointment....

Excellent location and well equipped. We felt that the steep stairs, and the number of steps upstairs made the cottage unsuitable for people with mobility problems.
