If you're looking for an idyllic bolt-hole away from it all then Roe Woods and their cabins are just the ticket. Cosy and equipped with everything you could need, the cabins have their own hot tub- great for a peaceful soak and stargazing in comfort. A sub 15 min walk to the local pub with a range of ales, beers and alcohol free drinks and excellent hearty food. Fowey is only a 20 min drive away and is a beautiful fishing town with shops, cafes, museum, aquarium and numerous coastal walks and beachy coves to explore. You will not be disappointed!...

Staying at this little woodland lodge was an absolute gem of an experience. Tucked away among the trees, it feels wonderfully private and peaceful, with nothing but nature around you. The setting is truly beautiful — waking up to birdsong and the view of the woods right outside the window was incredibly relaxing. The lodge itself is compact but very thoughtfully designed. Every inch of space is used well, and it feels cozy rather than small. It has everything you need for a comfortable stay, and the warm, inviting atmosphere makes it easy to settle in straight away. ...

We had a lovely countryside stay with absolutely stunning views even in rainy February they were impressive. The property was very clean, comfortable and peaceful, with the log burner keeping it cosy at night. The kitchen was well equipped and the thoughtful extras (chocolates, towel robes and even wellies) were much appreciated. We enjoyed the hot tub and walking to the local pub for a roast. A really relaxing stay overall....

Jo is an excellent host and has been very easy to contact with any issues or queries and comes around straight away if you need her. We have stayed at both squirrel Nutkin and Foxy Loxy in Roe wood and Jo has literally thought of everything you may need for your stay including lovely little extras like biscuits and fresh milk/oat milk. The lodge’s are warm and cozy and the grounds are secluded and pretty. We will definitely be returning again next year Thankyou Jo xx...
