We had a fantastic time. This is our second year staying at Marigold. Facilities excellent. We especially liked the swimming pool which is very deep. Tennis and snooker were also fun. Weather was amazing (hot and sunny all week - we were very lucky). Marigold is a lovely cottage, perfect for our 2 families, very well equipped. Nice garden and we enjoyed having a BBQ. Very quiet location which we like. We did have very little phone signal or WiFi which also meant TV didn't work most of the week. DVD player also didn't work. This didn't bother us much. Due to the weather being so good the kids played outside and it was nice being 'off grid' for a week. Last year when we stayed here the WiFi, TV and phone signal was fine. ...

Marigold Cottage is like home from home. It is very well equipped & in a beautiful location. Simon & Michelle, the owners, have thought of everything. The personal touches, card, flowers, apple juice, biscuits & fudge were a lovely touch & very much appreciated. I'm looking forward to next year as it will be my 70th birthday & I cannot think of anywhere I would rather be to celebrate with my ????????????????...

Beautifully presented cottage not long refurbished. Lots of nice extra touches provided - flowers and biscuits on arrival, good selection of DVDs, books and games. Netflix is also provided. There is also a CD/Radio/Bluetooth speaker/player although it didn't seem to be working when we were there. Really well-equipped kitchen. Great to have fridge and a big fridge/freezer, as well as dishwasher, washing machine and tumble drier. Ian the caretaker was also very friendly and helpful. It's a bit of a walk from the parking space in the car park to the cottage when unloading and loading car, so you might want to pull up outside cottage to do this when arriving and leaving (leave someone ready to move your car if it gets in anyone's way!). Take some pound coins if you want to use the sauna (£1 for 25 mins) - you may need to use £2 as it takes some time to warm up. Mobile signal is largely non-existent unless you are using a provider linked to EE. There is, however, reasonable WiFi in the cottage so you can make and receive calls through WiFi when in the cottage. The last 2-3 miles leading to the cottage are along very narrow single-track roads with limited passing spaces, so be prepared to do plenty of reversing! ...

It's great to hear the kitchen and amenities were useful, and that Ian was helpful during your stay. Thanks for the helpful tips for future guests too. We'll definitely check the speaker system you mentioned. We hope to welcome you back again soon. Chloe, Customer Support. ...

Lovely cottage on a great holiday cottage complex. All the shared facilities were brilliant and we took advantage of using the swimming pool!
