Lovely cottage in a great location for dog walking. Well equipped with plenty of games and puzzles for wet weather days. Kitchen fantastic although it is overlooked by neighbours who are in close proximity to the property but this would be easily solved by the owners having blinds put up. Used the front bedroom and bed was very comfy. Would recommend this cottage and the surrounding area of St Helen’s. Great shop at the end of the road which never seems to shut - staff very friendly. ...

The cottage is in a great location, perfect for exploring the island. Very close to St Helens harbour which is a lovely walk with the dogs and on the doorstep of the green which is lovely and has a lovely pub and cafe near on opposite sides of the green. The cottage itself is very cosy, very well equipped, loads of games / films to enjoy on the not so great days weather wise. Beds were super comfy. Around 20 minutes drive to Shanklin, 30 minutes to Blackgang Chine and 40 minutes to Brook Bay which is just lovely at sunset between Brook Bay and Compton Bay....

Lovely cottage on a quiet street in a beautiful village. We have stayed in a different property in St Helen's before and found it very peaceful which made us come back again with young family. The property is in excellent condition and acted as a great base for us to explore the island. The neighbours were all very friendly including the local deaf cat! The house has a lovely flowing downstairs which worked well with a young family. As you would expect with a Victorian property the stairs are steep, narrow and partially open on one side; despite having an 18 month old it didn't give us any problems. The kitchen is well equipped and ideal for knocking up evening meals....

Lovely, clean cottage in a peaceful location, but within a 10 minute walk of a nature reserve and the seaside, with great coastal walks. The garden is partially wild in support of wildlife and it was a lovely space to sit and listen to the birdsong throughout the day. The kitchen is well equipped with a sunny aspect and the beds were comfortable. Lots of games at the cottage and things to do if it rains. All in all a great holiday!...
