We liked the house, it was warm and welcoming, furnished and decorated well, in a good location, easy to find, nice Garden. Most things available to us, except for coat hangers, and just a lack of information on The website as to what is in the house for our use, would have saved us filling up the car with those items, as mentioned above. A sweeping brush would have been useful to sweep the Kitchen, the dustpan was provided, but the brush with it wasn’t suitable for sweeping the whole floor. One Toilet roll in each bathroom is not enough for four people for six days. We visited the Prince William Pub and it was excellent. Need to book in advance, but the door and service was excellent quality. The Trawler is the nearest pub, and the food was ok, but the menu is stuck in the 70’s. Where else can you still get basket meals? The dessert menu looked good, but the only two things available was sponge pudding, Ginger or Chocolate, and a Fruit crumble. Bit disappointing. We went to the Greene King pub, the Waterside Inn on the road to Paignton. It was excellent food and service, and only takes about ten mins to get there. We wanted to go to an Italian Restaurant, but all of them appeared to be closed, or didn’t answer the phone to book in. All in all, I would stay there again.

Your feedback, we are sure, will be so helpful to future guests looking to dine out in the area. We are sorry to read that you didnt find there to be a lot of hangers - we have checked this with the owner and are satisfied that there is a good stock. They also have dust pan and brushes and a new Dyson, we really sorry if you didnt locate these. If you have a look at the 'staying with us' pages, we show the minimum inventory and inital supply that you will find in each property - a helpful tool to save you packing! Clean, well equipped, good info for local things to do.

Lovely house easy access to different locations in Devon. Clean and tidy very well equipped with all cooking essentials. Beds were comfortable. Couldn't fault the place will definitely recommend.

We had a really lovely week here. A very comfortable stay and lots to do.

One of the best we have stayed in Europe. Spotless and very well equipped. The house is a credit to its owners / housekeeper.

Excellently located property. About 30mins walk down (it is on the upward outskirts) in Brixham town but on a bus route. Beautifully maintained and equipped.

We're delighted to hear you enjoyed your stay at Starfish and that you particularly like the location. There are a number of different routes down to the coves and bustling harbourside town of Brixham to enjoy, the quickest taking around 15 minutes. Alison, Customer Support

Good cottage for the price but missing a few basics. Best heading into Brixham rather than the local pub on the estate. Good road connections to the area.

Nice bright cottage with garden. We had a lovely time. Enjoyed the steep walk up and down to the harbour or the coves.

Wonderful house in a beautiful quiet area with a pretty sunny garden. Short pleasant walk to Brixham harbour. The owners have thought of everything you might need and Carly the housekeeper was a friendly welcoming face during our stay here. Will definitely use this cottage again

The cottage was lovely and better than expected in many ways! The cleanliness was amazing and it was a short wander down through Battle Gardens to the main town.

Good location, parking, spotlessly clean.
