Thank you for a lovely holiday in the sunshine. Weather, which was wonderful, helped, but the cottage helped more. Very comfortable, clean, and very well equipped. Quiet location with only bird song and occasional vehicle, going past on uneven ground, to be heard. Good place for getting around Devon. Would recommend Bude for shops and beautiful beaches, and The New Moon Inn in Sheepwash for food. Gets busy though....

We very much enjoyed our stay at Little Wagtail and had a very relaxing break. The accommodation was very clean and comfortable. What we particularly liked about the main room was how bright and airy it was, as there are large patio doors looking out onto the decking which is a nice sun- trap to relax on. The sofas are comfortable and modern and unlike some places I have stayed in before, the TV was at a nice height to watch it without having to strain your neck. It was great to be welcomed with amazing scones, jam and clotted cream, along with tea bags and milk. The location was nice and peaceful, and while you need a car to get around, you haven’t got to drive for too long to visit some nice places. We particularly liked Sandymouth, near Bude. ...

Very warm and cosy cottage so great for an off season break. Comfortable bedrooms, both ensuite a bonus. And so lovely and welcoming after a long journey with complimentary scones, clotted cream and jam and flowers on the table. We had a very peaceful relaxing break exploring the north coast and Dartmoor, both within a short drive! Lydford Gorge is only 25 minutes away and spectacular! Thanks so much to Caroline & Bill........we'll be back!...

Little Wagtail is a great doggy friendly cottage. Having a secure deck area was very handy - as was having access to the field to exercise the dog - great for the early morning outings. The property was a good size. There were two of us but it would be really comfortable for four people - plenty of room in the lounge and the kitchen. It's in a really peaceful spot - with good pubs 5 - 10 mins away. We enjoyed the River Inn Black Torrington (dog friendly) and the Halfmoon Inn in Sheepwash (not so keen on dogs but accommodated us)....

This property is lovely and clean and all the equipment we needed. Caroline is a very friendly and helpful host. We loved the surroundings, love.y view across the countryside and very quiet and restful.
