A brilliant cottage we had a very happy few days . Owners Bill and Caroline couldn't have been more helpful. A lovely welcome of delicious homemade scones cream and jam and little treats for Brinkley. We felt very welcome and would definitely stay again.

We're so pleased that you enjoyed your stay at Little Wagtail - those homemade scones certainly sound like they hit the spot - did you go jam or cream first? We look forward to welcoming you and Brinkley back again soon. Tressa, Customer Support

Little Wagtail is a spotlessly clean, comfortable cottage set in such a quiet and peaceful location. There are walks and local villages to explore nearby. We loved exploring Dartmoor and the pubs in Sheepwash and Black Torrington (5 min drive).
We very much appreciated the lovely cream tea on arrival and other little surprises left for us and our two dogs to enjoy. Every effort had been made to make us feel welcome and relaxed at Little Wagtail.
Having two ensuite bathrooms was a plus as we were two couples sharing the cottage. The bedrooms were large and light and the kitchen diner had everything we needed.
A real find!

Little Wagtail has everything you will need for a prefect holiday! The cottage is so cosy you will not want to leave. A great base as you are only a short drive away from Dartmoor or the coast.

We had a brilliant stay at Little Wagtail, and the owners could not have done more to make us feel welcome. Delicious mince pies, a Christmas tree and even treats for our dog were all waiting for us. The cottage felt spacious and was very clean and well equipped, and in a good central location for exploring Devon. Lots of good beaches and walks for the dog (and the children!) too.
