Fabulously well appointed and positioned cottage, with lovely outside sun decks and lots of space inside for a large family. We would not hesitate to recommend this property.

Kephalo Cottage is perfect in every way. It has great sized rooms and beds, and is well equipped. It is also in a beautiful location and is near to other beautiful places.

The cottage was fantastic- everything we could possibly need and extremely comfortable. We have stayed in quite a few classic cottages and we felt this was the best.

The owners made contact with us during the stay to make sure everything was to our satisfaction. The property was equipped to the highest standard throughout which made for a great stay and certainly exceeded our expectations from the excellent Classic Cottages website. Deceptively spacious and well appointed accommodation - comfy sofas and beds and a very well equipped kitchen. The sunroom and garden room were a real bonus, allowing our multigenrational family to spread out and find their own space if needed. There was an under counter fridge in the kitchen and another in the utility room plus a freezer too so loads of space for anyone self catering in earnest. Nice touches from the owners of cake and cream tea and milk on arrival and fresh flowers throughout the property. Kephalo was spotlessly clean and the owners were in touch via text to check all was OK. Beer is a lovely village and a great base for exploring further afield too. The beach at nearby Sidmouth was a hit with us too, with a flatter and sandier beach that is more family friendly for paddling and bodyboarding, Paddle boards and kayaks are available for rent at Sidmouth and at Seaton beach too. The Beer Caves tour was very interesting and we also enjoyed our ride on the Seaton Tramway. Just a note on parking at Kephalo. We were a little concerned our slightly larger than average family car (Hyundai Tucson) might be too large for the driveway but although the fit was a little snug it was very doable - you just need to be confident in your reversing! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Kephalo to others....
