Gylly beach has a fab beach cafe, restaurant and right on the coast path too.
Hop on the ferry to St Mawes from Falmouth, you might even see dolphins.

Creek Cottage is a lovely place to stay where you can watch the sun rise over the Helford river every morning. The cottage was well equipped, spotlessly clean and in a fabulous location. You will need to have a car to stay here and I would suggest that you arrive for the first time in the light - as this would make finding the cottage much easier. I have stayed here twice and would definitely return again....
