The Haven as a property was well equipped, plenty of cups etc, the garden was well tended to & it would be a property we would consider again in the future. Sisal floor coverings might be hard wearing but are extremely uncomfortable to walk on, sofa's to both rooms are all very low and difficult to get up from, the staircase is quite steep, all things to consider if there are mobility issues within your party.

Great place for a family to stay, spacious and nicely decorated. We’d be happy to return. St Helen’s beach is lovely.

Lovely cottage, nicely decorated with pretty garden and driveway. Nice size bedrooms thoughtfully appointed. Some good dog friendly walks down to the Duver and harbour. Great meals at The Gander, 33 Deli and Baywatch on the beach. Easy to reach all parts of the Island by car and also near bus routes.

Very comfortable and cosy house in a good location.

Lovely enclosed garden - a perfect spot for a sunny evening!

Lovely cottage tucked away just off the village green, in a very quiet location, close to the village pub and the deli and a short walk to the coast. Very well equipped and good enclosed garden for our dog to enjoy.

A wonderful lily and airy house down a quiet word just off the green at St Helens. Would recommend

Both the house and the location exceeded our expectations!

This is a lovely, bright, airy and spacious holiday home. We found the beds and sofas very comfortable. Three shower rooms (one with freestanding bath) is lovely. NB the ensuite is to the twin room not the doubles. The kitchen / dining area is a lovely hub with loads of natural light. The wifi is good - essential if holidaying with teens! The carpets (jute?) take a bit of getting used to with bare feet. All great. Would recommend.

Wonderful village location very close to the beach, cafe pubs and local restaurants.

Very clean and spacious. Lovely garden too. Would happily holiday there again, and have already recommended it to a friend.

We had such a lovely stay. It had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We had a fantastic week at The Haven, the house was everything we were hoping for and in a great location to explore the Isle of Wight for the first time. There was plenty of space in The Haven for us all (five people) and the garden was fully enclosed so we could relax when our dog was outside. We would definitely like to return to The Haven when we visit the Isle of Wight again.

The Green family

A lovely house in an excellent location just off the village green and 5 mins form the beach. This is a great house for adult groups and families with older children. Well decorated and spacious. Potential guests with toddlers or babies should avoid though as the rope carpets, which look lovely, are exceptionally uncomfortable for pre-walkers. Dog owners will find the local pub 'The Vine' and the nearby beach very welcoming but should be aware dogs are not allowed in all areas of the house.

Thanks so much for your review, we're delighted to hear that you liked The Haven. The choice of fixtures and fittings lies with the owners and we're sorry that the sisal carpets didn't quite hit the mark for you; we'll certainly feed your comments back to them. We do ask that dogs are not allowed upstairs or on the furniture at any of our properties; you can see more details in the booking conditions or on our website. The Haven has two sitting-rooms, and the owner prefers that one is 'four-legged friendly' and the other a 'two legs only' room. Tressa, Customer Support

The Haven is a lovely comfortable place to stay. St Helens has a lovely dog friendly beach and plenty of choices for eating out. We had a lovely family holiday there.

A high-end, beautifully furnished and well equipped holiday home in a fabulous location. Lots of lovely little touches to make the stay extra special. We have had a wonderful week here with our 12 year old son and springer spaniel!

This cottage is perfect when you travel with family and a dog! Short distance to the seaside where you can bring your dog and have a drink in the beach cafe. We loved this place!

What a fantastic cottage in a very cute seaside village! It was great to come back to a beautiful and well equipped cottage after a day of exploring with the dog (especially as there is a hose to shower all the sand off the pooch) It was clean, spacious, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed for the week; even the kitchen had everything so we could have a few meals in. The post office shop is very handy, Tesco extra is 10minutes drive away and I recommend Baywatch on the Beach. The chippy van comes every Saturday lunch time- Not to be missed! Favourite beaches: Yaverland, Appley Tower and of course St Helens beach Had an Amazing holiday, thank you

The Haven is a brilliant house, with so much attention to detail and beautifully furnished. A real home from home; so bright, spacious and comfortable. We loved it and would stay again and also recommend it to others. The garden is a real bonus and the BBQ was used twice, parking very good to have and overall we had no complaints at all. St Helens is a lovely village with 2 excellent restaurants, a shop and access to the beach and walking to Seaview etc Fabulous location and wonderful house, we were delighted with our holiday property, thank you very much!

Amazing cottage! Loved all the little touches like speakers for your iPhone, games for the kids, DVDs, books, super comfy beds. Great location. Hard to fault it really!

A very well presented property. Comfortable and stylish with the great benefit of being dog friendly.

Really beautiful cottage. Well equipped and so clean. We had a wonderful time thank you.
