Elvan Loft

User friendly site.

We had a great stay at Elvan Loft. The views from the window are fabulous, you can easily sit and watch the changing sea all day long - we even spotted a seal one day. Great location, only a 5 minute walk to the harbour. Parking and good wi-fi included. Cormorant cruises was a worthwhile boat trip if you want to spot a dolphin! ...

Linda, the owner was very helpful and friendly. The accommodation was located in a very picturesque village overlooking the sea. It contained everything we required for a very relaxing and enjoyable stay.

Brilliant 2 weeks in this lovely apartment. Really well laid out and well equipped. The owner couldn't have been more helpful ( had to call the AA) and the bus services are cheap and we'll organized! The fridge has a decent size ice box, handy to reduce shopping. Fish and Chips at Newlyn is great! ...

Elvan Loft is in a fantastic position for a stay in Mousehole. With a parking space at the property included for your stay, it puts your mind at rest, so you don't have the worry of finding a space in the carpark and extra parking fees. It is situated up two levels on the cliff (hence the lovely views) before you go down into Mousehole Harbour and can be driven too quiet easily, but it is steep. Walking up is easier than it looks as long as your mobile. You're on holiday so need to rush just take your time. It is a very well-equipped property with one bedroom ideal for a couple or a single traveller. The views from the two large windows at the front of the property are beautiful and perfect for watching the Sun rise over the sea. They provide lots of light in the apartment even on the cloudiest of days and it has a comfortable bed for the end of a perfect day from site seeing and walking the beautiful coastal walks. It is an upstairs apartment/flat in a house with a lovely host living in the property downstairs. You have your own door to access the property and it is very private. The only downfall is the stairs could be difficult if you have some mobility difficulties. It provides easy access to Penzance, St Michaels Mount, The Minack Theatre, Lands' End and St. Ives to name a few. There is a Lovely Cinema in Newlyn which is modern and close by in the next small town. Accessible by car or bus or even walking if you're up to it. It has very comfortable seating, a lovely bar and restaurant area where you can have dinner before your film or a light snack and drink. They allow you to take your drink in the cinema with you (purchased from the bar of course,) but have a no eating or crunching policy so no popcorn! Mousehole has a couple of Restaurants, Cafes and Pubs and delightful shops and galleries to visit whilst there. The Harbour in Mousehole is a delight, with a nice sandy beach which is enjoyed by toddlers and adults alike and many go for swim in the Harbour Sea. There is a regular Bus service from Mousehole to Penzance which is widely used by walkers passing through and day trippers, holiday makers and friendly locals who live there. What more could you want....
