Lovely property; really nice location; views from roof terrace are beautiful: really close to Seaview. Well equipped with kitchen stuff, and the kitchen and living areas were lovely: Property was clean and comfy on the whole: Needs a bit of TLC and updating in certain areas. Some of the soft furnishings are worn and few stains in cushions and curtains. Door handles are quite loose on a few of the doors: Main issue for us was the hot water didn’t last long enough; we were 4 adults; it sleeps 8, but after 2 baths/showers the water ran out: other area was the heating; our week started off lovely but got very cold as week progressed. Needed instant heat; not waiting until the next day for the heaters to work. On the whole would stay here again; but in summer!

Crowsteps itself is a lovely property however our stay was not quite what we had been expecting. We were assured that all necessary measures would be taken to ensure the utmost cleanliness due to the pandemic and that our check in would be late due to this. Unfortunately on arrival it was clear none of these measures were taken and the place hadn’t been cleaned at all. Every surface was grimy including light switches, door handles and the dining room table took a lot of scrubbing. There were toothpaste marks still on sinks and tiles and no hand wash in some of the bathrooms. Not enough matching crockery or knives, only 6 seats on the roof terrace so if all 8 of us wanted to eat outside we had to bring dining chairs up to the top. Stains on the bed sheets and many things were broken. Classic Cottages have been fantastic and incredibly understanding however the compensation we received from the owner was pitiful and was probably the cost of the clean that hadn’t taken place. It really tainted the holiday for us too and we felt very uneasy. I really hope it gets the tlc it needs to make it special as it’s a lovely village to visit and could be a fantastic holiday cottage with some attention.

Love this property and it’s location in the beautiful Isle of Wight. The house was really pretty inside and very clean and well equipped. Rooms light and spacious (the photo of the twin room really doesn’t do it justice so don’t be put off!) with lovely bedding. Kitchen well equipped and again spotlessly clean. Classic Cottages is our new favourite company to book through as they were so helpful and pleasant to deal with and nothing was too much trouble from the friendly staff.

Great location for this comfortable house.

Absolutely beautiful house in a fantastic location. We genuinely didn't want to leave. Highly recommended to all.

Well-appointed, spacious two storey apartment with sea views in an ideal location for swimming and beaching. Great accommodation for 8 and a half members of one family - three generations - who all had a fantastic week in Seaview and on the Isle of Wight.

Great location just needs a few little tweaks to be perfect.
