Vida Floating Home

Bembridge / Sleeps 4 + cot*

7 Nights from £412 - £860

February 2018

Our holiday was quite simply perfect, Vida was in such a wonderful setting at the end of the pontoon, so very private with sea views from all the rooms (which by the way are better than the pictures).... will be returning soon. Love The Kings x

October 2017

Fantastic location, seal two days running outside window. Fresh crab local floating café, past house boats and kingfisher catching fish from Vida. Oh wow!

September 2017

Well equipped property, with great views, perfectly located for exploring the Island.

September 2017

We loved our time at Vida. The accommodation is spotless and beautifully decorated. The location is ideal and we could spend all day just looking out at the birds and boats! We were so sad to leave it!

There is a pub within 5 minute walk in Bembridge (The Pilot boat inn) who do really good food. There is also another Pub in St Helens which is probably about 25mins away (The Vine). It's a great walk past all the houseboats. Bembridge village is a 10 minute walk where there is a CoOp, The Village inn (pub), The Bakery (recommended breakfast and yummy cakes) & a couple of other placed to eat. It's a lovely walk along Bembridge beach towards the Lifeboat Station. In the other direction (St Helens) you can walk across the causeway and walk to the beach. There is a place there called Baywatch by the beach where we stopped for lunch and a drink. We will be back for sure!

Quite often holiday accommodation is not quite as good as you thought it was going to be. Vida was the opposite. We thought it was going to be nice - but it was excellent. The accommodation was stylish, well equipped also very comfy. As for the setting, we thought it was quite magical. You will definitely see us again.

August 2017

The floating home is in prime location to observe harbour life and the lights glitter in the evening on the water right across to Portsmouth. It is also close to good beaches for rockpools and snorkeling, Forelands being the best, I think. The locals are friendly and the home itself comfortable, light and airy as you open the whole front if you want. Means you can observe kingfishers, swans, egrets from your living room! Or on deck watch the mullet that visit or catch crabs from the pontoon!

August 2017

Idyllic setting! Vida did not disappoint. We enjoyed some stunning sunsets, befriended some swans and ducks and generally had a hugely relaxing week on board with the added bonus that our beloved dog could come too. We very much hope to return.

June 2017

May I say what a splendid property this is. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and found the setting peaceful and relaxing - much needed in both our busy lives.

June 2017

My wife and I had a wonderful week on board Vida. It was the perfect base for the Isle of Wight. Vida was possibly situated on the best location on Bembridge Harbour. Local pubs and restaurants were very good, and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We did not use the roof facilities, as the stairway was too steep. The view from Vida was just wonderful.

March 2017

We loved the houseboat and would definitely like stay there again. To be able to open the blinds in the morning to watch the shorebirds busily going about their business and even when it was dark to see the twinkling lights across the harbour and over in Portsmouth, it was a magical place to stay.
