The Old Boat House is in a perfect location for seaside fun. Literally seconds away from the beach it was great for paddling, sandcastles and boat watching. The beach itself is quite pebbly but when the tide is out there is plenty of sand and rock pools. It’s just a few minutes stroll from the quaint village where we regularly walked to get our breakfast, lunch and dinner. We loved sitting outside the Old Fort pub just watching the boats. The house itself is full of character and quirkiness. One thing to be aware of is the stairs up to the attic bedrooms, which are quite steep and slightly tricky for toddlers to use. Overall a lovely house in a beautiful location.

The cottage is very peaceful, well equipped and comfortable. The sun rises at the front of the cottage and during the day there Is always somewhere in the well kept garden to enjoy the sunshine. Set on the coastal path there is no traffic passing by other than walkers, fishermen and horses. It Is a perfect location for watching the yachts and shipping, including the cruise ships coming and going along the Solant. The cottage is also just a few steps from the beach. There may be a lot to explore across the island but as this is such a great place to relax and unwind we were not In a hurry to do so.

Lovely location with amazing views and peaceful surroundings. Definitely the best place I have booked in England.
