Middle Lodge is a beautiful 1860s, stone-built, Victorian holiday home set in a mature enclosed garden on the edge of Ryde on the near-east side of the Island. It would be ideal for a large family or a group of friends traveling together. While the outside of the house is pure period, the inside offers modern minimalism with a generous dash of contemporary comfort. The leafy private garden and spacious shaded patio make this a lovely place for a family with children to relax and enjoy nature without going far afield. However, just beyond the grounds of Middle Lodge is Appley Beach; famous for its golden sands, it really is the perfect coastal playground for both young and old alike. On the ground floor of this spacious holiday home you will find a large kitchen with a bright, inviting dining-room just beyond. There is also a good-sized sitting-room and a smaller snug, both with plenty of comfortable furnishings and large televisions. The bedrooms are found on the first and lower ground floors. On the first floor there are three bedrooms; one with a super-king bed and another with a king-size bed, both with ornamental fireplaces, as well as a twin room. This floor also has a large bathroom with a corner bath and fitted shower. On the lower ground floor where the sleeping quarters continue, there is a bright spacious bedroom with a king-sized bed and another with twin beds. There is shower-room with a walk-in electric shower, as well as a utility-room on this floor.
