Great value for money with a fantastic location. Lots of great things about the place and we enjoyed our stay, the only drawbacks were the lack of privacy due to neighbours being able to look directly in from all sides and a tiny shower. We would go back for the location alone, and a great pub in walking distance!

Merries is in a great spot, tucked in amongst its neighbours as you found, although we'll certainly suggest some additional voile or blinds in addition to the curtains. We're delighted you enjoyed the spot and hope to welcome you back again in the future. Tanya, Customer Support

If you like the sea almost on your doorstep and you prefer to be away from the centre of the village, it is the perfect location.

Liked: the style and location of this quirky cottage. Good choice of books and board games. Bath and separate shower very useful.

Not so happy about: the general tiredness of property, except for the kitchen and bathroom.

Initial impressions were very disappointing, however after changing the bedding (for which we were reimbursed) cleaning the toilet ourselves and consuming the complimentary bottle of fizz we did enjoy our stay.

With a bit of TLC this property would definitely be value for money.
