A comfortable and well equipped cottage

We stayed at 5 Sandpipers for a week while visiting the Isle of Wight. The house was clean and had a modern feel to it and the location was perfect for us. We weren’t far from the beach, which you could see out of the main bedroom window and there was a local restaurant (The Old Fort), at the bottom of the road which served lovely food and a post office, a 30 second walk from the house if needed. We also liked that the property wasn’t on too busy a road, so we weren’t getting woken up by the noise of lots of traffic, but even with this, we weren’t too far from anything. It was handy to have our own parking space so we didn’t have to worry about that, but I do have a large car which was sometimes a struggle to park if all the other parking spots where filled, but not impossible to park, just a bit tight to turn in. We also liked that there was a small patio area at the back of the house with a table and chairs, so on nice evenings we could sit out there and eat our dinner or just relax as the sun set. Overall, I couldn’t recommend 5 Sandpipers enough, we loved staying in this house and if we ever manage to come back to the Isle of Wight again, we would definitely consider staying here again. ...

Ideal location not busy and only a short walk to beach. Community shop nearby for essentials and luxuries.

Lovely accommodation with private parking. Very good for self catering, very well equipped. A quiet location in a lovely village very close to the centre and sea front, can recommend the Community Village Shop, lovely people and very well stocked.

We had a lovely week here, very comfortable, clean and well equipped cottage.
