Grand View was the perfect house for our Christmas 2021 get together, Nick and Nicola our hosts were on hand to help us settle in. We were able to entertain the wider family with ease, as the house is well equipped and very comfortable, plenty of outdoor space and spectacular views across Dartmoor, with Newton Abbot only 5 mins down the road. We bought our meat and fresh milk from a local farm. We would definately book with Classic Cottages again and hope to return to Grand View. ...

We had a wonderful restful stay over Christmas week. The house was beautifully presented, spotlessly clean and tastefully decorated for Christmas. The house itself was beautiful, the decor, the furnishings, and the open plan really worked for a social family occasion. The views were stunning! The kitchen had everything you could possibly wish for to make a Christmas dinner including nice serving bowls etc. The only negative and it really is the only one...is there is no gate to the front of the property/drive which means it is not safe to let dogs or young children out of the house without supervision. The house, although rural is next to quite a busy country lane. We had the best Christmas break away and will definitely be returning to Grande view again very soon. ...

Grand View is in a perfect location. It is a spacious comfortable well equipped house perfect for families. The owners have thought of everything and are so kind and helpful. This was our second visit and sure it won't be our last.

Grand View is beautiful and very special. We enjoyed our stay and even in the rain it was great as we could sit in comfort, watch the views (and drink wine!)
