We had a lovely stay at Grand View, weather was amazing too, so a real bonus. Grand View is exactly as it says, a spectacular view as far as the eye can see towards Dartmoor. Host very welcoming and attentive, but also left us to our stay and didn’t bother us at all. Everything we needed was there, very well equipped, warm and cosy too. Loads to do in the area and beyond on Dartmoor and further afield at the coast only a 45-50 min drive to the south. 3 lovely pubs in the area, approx a mile or so down the lanes and also an amazing garden centre with a lovely Cafe on the main road - also only about a mile away. Thank you for the garden centre gift voucher, a lovely touch! We used it on our last day to get a lovely breakfast before heading off. We would definitely recommend this property, it was stunning and would definitely return. Thank you ...

Grand View certainly lives up to its name. The location is stunning and although quiet and rural, it is within easy reach of many attractions. The house is well equipped and designed, with the large kitchen/dining/sitting area looking out onto the moor in the distance. Instead of a welcome pack there is a voucher to spend at the excellent local garden centre cum farm shop....
