We had an excellent stay at Walkham. The hosts were great and the barn is finished to a very high standard. There is loads of cooking equipment, and little extra touches around the barn made it feel like the hosts had really thought about their guests. We would thoroughly recommend Walkham to anyone....

Exceeded our expectations! A stunning luxury property in the best location. We were very sad to have to go home and would definitely book here again. Everything is high end, lots of helpful gadgets including USB chargers in the plug sockets, Smart TV's in the sitting room and both bedrooms The owners were lovely and not intrusive, but were there if we needed anything. An amazing welcome pack was provided on arrival. Thank you Luke & Masha. Cosy and very warm with the under floor heating. A perfect retreat. The scenery was breath-taking. We will be back. A super little cottage set in the wildness of Dartmoor. The owners make you welcome and are friendly and helpful. They left welcoming gifts of wine, flowers, fruit etc. The cottage is scrupulously clean. Imagine the views will be heavenly in the summer. Dog friendly. There is a big field next to the cottage where I exercised my dog when the weather prevented going elsewhere. There is a small, raised area with chairs and table which is securely fenced. This is directly accessed from the cottage. The dog-friendly pub at Meavy (The Royal Oak?) was nice....

A beautiful property. The cleanest self catering cottage we have stayed in. Could not fault it. Lots of goodies on arrival. Owners very helpful. All cottages were quite private to each other. would definitely recommend.
