Stowaway

We really liked this accommodation which indeed, as others have commented, was better than the photos suggested and surpassed expectations in terms of comfort and location, especially proximity to the sea. It was plenty big enough for five adults: we didn't feel we were living on top of each other due to a choice of the sun lounge and the sitting room to relax in, as well as the outdoor area if the weather permitted. One thing to be aware of: the top bedroom has a low ceiling on one side of the bed which even a short person has to stoop for. The thing that let the place down slightly for us (hence 4 stars rather than 5) was the housekeeping; some things were not as clean as we would have wished for and some expected essentials (eg loo paper!) were provided at a minimum, but perhaps this was just a blip....

This is an ideal place to stay especially with children. The location couldn't be better, the property is tastefully decorated and extremely comfortable.

Stowaway is located at the top of a slipway leading to the beach so there is always something beautiful to look at. It was lovely to come back to this well-equipped house after a day out.

Stowaway is a lovely, well maintained and centrally located village property where you can feel close to the elements with the amazing sea views from the dining room, yet be comfortable and warm on the wildest of nights. It is well equipped and contemporary in look and feel, combining modern central heating and plenty of hot water with a more traditional wood burner for cosy nights in. Booking was easy and any enquiries with Classic Cottages were dealt with promptly and efficiently. A pleasure to be there and on the list for a return visit in the future!...
