Overall rating would be between 'poor' and 'good'. Need a button for 'satisfactory'

Good value, nice property but, a little ‘tired’ . All facilities you could need. Short walk downhill to village and beach (uphill, going back not so good for anyone with mobility problem.)Excellent for anyone with a pet.

Basic accommodation (although kitchen was very good)

Uncomfortable double bed so didn’t get a good nights sleep. Bathroom was mouldy in places.

Further away from the village centre than most of the other holiday properties. To get to the centre was quite a steep walk and norrow paths for pushchair use.

Thanks so much for your thoughts on Jacaranda Apartment. It is a popular family property, but we were sorry that the bed wasn't quite to your personal taste - it can be very difficult to find a mattress that suits all guests. We'll ask the cleaning team to pay particular attention to the bathroom - thanks for letting us know. The property is situated up a hill from the village's traditional heart, but the position does mean that guests are within walking distance of everything they need yet with a quiet base to retreat to if necessary. Very comfortable, well appointed, clean and tidy. Well positioned for pubs and beach.

Nice and convenient for places to visit. Was quiet location. Had all the facilities a perfect home from home. Will definitely go again.

We (couple with 2-year-old son) had a fine stay at Jacaranda Apartment. The cottage was extremely well cleaned and perfectly equipped for our holiday needs. Although some elements, like the heater in the fireplace, feel a bit dated, the cottage in general feels modern and comfortable. We especially liked the large kitchen area and of course the location: near the beaches but with private parking. Overall, great for a week at the beach and exploring the Roseland peninsula.

Short walk to the harbour, beach and coastal walks. From the drive the sea is visible. Shame the hedge is so tall or the same view of the sea would be stunning to see from the lounge. Area is quiet and brilliant base to explore from.

There is another apartment above which you can hear children running around and doors shutting . A polite notice to think of noise levels in the evening in both apartments wouldn't spoil the holiday . Manners cost nothing .

Overall it was a great holiday, lovely place to stay in and I would stay here again. Again I must praise the cleaner. It was spotless.

Thanks so much for your review, and we're delighted that you enjoyed your stay. We're so sorry that you were disturbed by noise from the apartment above - we're sure that the holiday guests in that property hadn't meant to cause any disruption, and it was probably a case of holiday excitement boiling over! Luckily this is not a regular occurrence and we're very happy to hear that you would return again in the future. Tanya, Customer Support
