Barn Owls Cottage is converted from an 18th Century stone barn and has a fully enclosed mature garden, with a beautifully crafted fence separating the two cottages, giving privacy to both.

These electric gates at the entrance to the farm are activated by driving onto a magnetic circuit under the concrete which reacts upon a car driving onto it. The gates will close automatically after.
Across the lane the pond has a variety of visitors from summer dragonfly to the owners' Gotland sheep.

The village pub, the Spyway Inn, is a short walk from West Hembury Farm.
Drive the Jurassic Coast road between Bridport and Weymouth for spectacular views in both directions.

The garden at the Spyway Inn, Askerswell, has a great south-facing garden.
The French doors from the sitting/dining-room lead out onto the sheltered patio.
Looking down through the farmyard, the owners' house is at the bottom and the cottages to the right of the photo.
Weymouth's sandy beach is a 30 minute drive and has a traditional Punch and Judy Show during the summer months.
The Isle of Purbeck with Corfe Castle at its gateway is about a forty minute drive from the farm.
Lulworth Cove gets very busy during the summer months but take a walk along the Jurassic Coast to Durdle Door, an iconic landmark.
West Bay further along the Jurassic Coast may look familiar if you watched the Broadchurch series.
Meander around West Bay, still a thriving fishing port; choose something tempting for supper from the traditional fish shop.
If you love seafood, visit the Hive Beach cafe at Burton Bradstock. Fabulous local fish dishes are served, or if you prefer there are always delicious home-made cakes on offer.

Beautiful, clean, pet friendly, comfortable cottage set in a very rural location just a short drive from Bridport & the Jurassic coast line. The cottage is set between a property occupied by the owners & a smaller rental, with a spacious, secure rear garden & ample off road parking in the gated farmyard to the front. The accommodation is well planned & fitted to a very nice standard. The living room is spacious & leads through to a dining area & well equipped kitchen. Beds & bedrooms are comfortable & very adequate with stunning countryside views. All in all, a lovely rural cottage with easy access to the beautiful coast. We would not hesitate returning or recommending this holiday cottage....

A very peaceful location with beautiful views. A lovely enclosed garden which was very reassuring having dogs. Lots of room in the cottage which was generously equipped. The range style oven took a bit of thinking about especially as we were only there for a week. Good parking outside the cottage and good directions were supplied by the owners. Would happily return....

Lovely cottage in a peaceful location, although still in easy reach of the fabulous jurassic coast and their lovely towns. The cottage was comfortable with owners on site who were very friendly and helpful. Our two labs loved the garden and settled well considering it was their first holiday. Wouldn't hesitate recommending this property....
