Streamside Mill

Warm welcome from the owner with the fridge switched on, some milk in the fridge, a pack of fugde for the first tea and flowers on the kitchen table. Furthermore, the wood burner was ready for use, i.e. all prepared and further wood provided. The cottage is rather remotely located. On the other hand just a short distance to the closest pub and supermarket. The sea is only a few minute away too. We also liked the fact that we have been offered to use the owner's garden. Finally our dog was welcome too and she (our dog) also loved the cottage....

Really lovely location for enthusiastic walkers who want to explore...

The cottage owner is a lovely lady and very helpful. Although it's a lovely property, anybody with mobility issues may find it difficult as the stone steps up to the front door are quite steep. It's a great place for anybody with a well trained dog as it's a very safe location set back off the road, our spaniel loved it here. It's also a perfect location for walkers, the coastal footpath isn't too far away where there are many paths allowing access to different parts of the headland. St Just is a really nice village, the Kings Arms pub is ultra dog friendly and there's an excellent butcher and bakers, plus a few little cafes. ...
