Frog Rock Cottage

We found it really difficult to tear ourselves away from the magnificent view from the upstairs windows. When we did, we loved exploring the coves and walks around the Lizard Peninsula and shopping for fresh fish and seafood at Cadgwith Cove Crab. The cottage was clean, very comfortable and well equipped but, really, Frog Rock is all about that wonderful, constantly changing, vista. We've been glued to their webcam ever since arriving home... we'll be back!...

We really settled into the cottage during our week there...which, given that the previous week of our holiday had been a bit of a disaster, was a relief and a joy. It's quite small, but it has a very homely and cosy feel, and was perfect for a two-parents-and-one-child holiday. The location simply couldn't be better, with glorious views out towards Kynance Cove, superb sunsets to enjoy from the comfort of the garden cocoon, and spectacular starry skies. All the joys of the Lizard are within easy reach, or you can just stay put and soak in the peace and quiet. We'll look forward to returning. ...

Frog Cottage has everything you could possible ask for. The amazing views , the tranquility and the beauty of the wild garden and headland that stretches before you to Kynance Cove makes this a very special place. The welcoming hamper basket, even including a Cornish beer " Proper Job`" was really appreciated. The thoughtful and friendly , information sheets about the local area , where to go and where to eat, said to us, " we care about your time here " . We were lucky with the weather but each sunset is stunningly different and was the highlight of the day. Walking into the Lizard Village to eat or walking down to Lizard Point past the spectacularly beautiful Pistil Meadow made us appreciate this part of Cornwall even more. This was our third visit to Frog Rock, everything is complete perfection in this magical place, the cottage, the area and the view. This is my piece of heaven and will definately be returning.

Stunning view from frog rock cottage. We enjoyed sitting at the bedroom window looking at the view. The south west coastal path is right on the door step. Very quiet location but close to the lizard village. Well equipped cottage and one of the cleanest cottages we have ever stayed in. Owners are very friendly and checked on us during the storm. ...
